About us

An independent workshop built on trust, transparency and craft.

Since 2007, LRC Autoworks has serviced and repaired tens of thousands of vehicles for drivers across Hertfordshire. We still run the workshop the same way we did on day one — honest diagnostics, fair prices, real workmanship.

Our story

From a two-bay unit to one of Hertfordshire's most trusted independent workshops.

LRC Autoworks opened in 2007 as a two-bay unit on the edge of Ware. The plan was simple: fix cars properly, charge a fair price, and treat people the way we'd want to be treated. Word got out — and customers started bringing us their family's cars, then their friends'.

Today, our workshop runs eight ramps, a dedicated diagnostic bay, a heated downdraught spray booth and a separate alloy refurbishment area — but the principle hasn't changed. Every car is photographed, every fault is verified, every quote is honoured.

We service everything from a Fiesta to a Ferrari, but where we're best known is German performance, JLR and modern EVs. That's because the technicians on the floor came from main dealerships — they know these cars inside out, and they're tired of seeing customers overcharged.

What we stand for

Four principles that run every job.

  • Family-run

Started in 2007 by a father-and-sons team. Still independently owned. The technicians have been here for years — they know their cars, and they know our customers.

  • Honest diagnostics

We tell you what your car needs now, what can wait, and what doesn't need doing at all. No padded jobs, no inflated quotes, no 'you-also-need' tricks.

  • Skilled technicians

Main-dealer-trained on BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW and JLR platforms. ATA-accredited, IMI-registered and continuously training on the latest hybrid and EV systems.

  • Transparent pricing

Fixed menu prices on common jobs. Diagnostic-first pricing on faults. Written quote before any work — and a phone call if anything changes once we're in.

Inside the workshop

Equipment that matches the workmanship.

Cars get more complex every year. Honesty doesn't. We treat every car like our own family's.
